Suryabinayak Ganesh Mandir

सूर्यविनायक मन्दिर काठमाडौँ उपत्यकाका चार प्रमुख विनायकहरूमध्ये एक हो, जसलाई "उदाउँदो सूर्यको मन्दिर" का रूपमा पनि चिनिन्छ। भगवान गणेशप्रति समर्पित यो मन्दिर लिच्छविकालमा १५०० वर्षभन्दा अघि स्थापना भएको विश्वास गरिन्छ। यो मन्दिर बाक्लो वनजंगलले घेरिएको डाँडामा अवस्थित छ, जहाँबाट भक्तपुर सहरको मनोरम दृश्य देखिन्छ। यहाँ पूजा गर्नाले विशेषगरी बोल्न वा हिँड्न समस्या भएका बालबालिकाहरूलाई स्वास्थ्य लाभ हुने जनविश्वास रहेको छ।

Suryabinayak Temple is one of the four most important Ganesh shrines (Vinayaks) in the Kathmandu Valley, revered as the "Temple of the Rising Sun." Dedicated to Lord Ganesh, it is believed to have been established over 1,500 years ago during the Lichhavi period. The temple is situated on a hill surrounded by a dense forest, offering a serene environment and a panoramic view of Bhaktapur city. It is a popular belief that worshipping here grants good health, especially to children experiencing speech or mobility difficulties.
